Base Salary
$116k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and refine cloud future-state architecture and roadmaps using established standards and industry best practices.
- Design and develop scalable backend microservices and data-processing systems using Python.
- Design and implement distributed solutions across multiple public cloud platforms.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools including Git.
- Perform schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Participate in Agile software development activities including planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Use Prometheus and Splunk for monitoring and observability of cloud-native applications.
- Implement containerization in Unix environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Write shell scripts for public-cloud networking and Identity and Access Management requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience designing and developing scalable backend microservices and data-processing systems using Python.
- Experience designing distributed solutions across multiple public cloud platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with industry-standard tools including Git.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus and Splunk.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Unix environments, shell scripting, cloud networking, and IAM.
