Base Salary
$99k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered software solutions through production.
- Use large language models, agentic workflows, AWS or Azure, and Kubernetes to address business problems.
- Contribute to application, solution, architecture, and engineering design decisions.
- Follow and advance source-code management, test automation, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices.
- Engage with Lines of Business stakeholders to understand domain needs and business context.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, Engineering Chapter events, innovation activities, and development of shared tools and libraries.
- Maintain operational ownership of delivered assets and stay current with AI and software engineering trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related STEM field, Engineering, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least one year of hands-on software development experience, plus two additional years of software engineering experience as specified under the must-have qualifications.
- Production experience building, deploying, and maintaining software systems.
- Proficiency in Python; JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java experience is welcomed.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure and with Kubernetes.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, model evaluation, data pipelines, agentic workflows, LLM integrations, AI-powered automation, MongoDB or comparable NoSQL stores, Temporal or comparable workflow orchestration tools, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, observability, distributed tracing, zero-trust security, secure-by-design development, MCP server configurations, or multi-agent frameworks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with limited direction and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
