Base Salary
$99k - $163k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate agent harness capabilities consumed by engineering teams across the enterprise.
- Integrate agents with tools, APIs, and enterprise systems and make integrations reliable under production load.
- Advance test automation and deliver secure, observable, scalable, recoverable, and financially responsible code.
- Contribute to application and solution design with architects, product owners, and consuming teams.
- Own software assets end to end, including currency, vulnerability management, and production readiness.
- Document work, deepen expertise in owned technologies, and support existing systems through maintenance and enhancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, engineering, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least 2 additional years of software engineering experience; the ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on software development experience shipping and supporting production code.
- Proficiency in Python and exposure to TypeScript for AI integration work.
- Hands-on experience building generative AI or agentic applications and using agentic coding tools.
- Familiarity with agent harness components including orchestration loops, tool interfaces, context and memory management, and guardrails.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services, containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with agent runtimes or harness platforms such as AWS AgentCore, agent frameworks such as Strands Agents or LangGraph, and infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CDK.
- Experience with Helm, observability tooling, and distributed tracing in production environments.
- SME-level depth in at least one technical discipline and strong written and verbal communication skills.
