Responsibilities
- Participate in or lead technical design sessions focused on maintainability, code reuse, and efficient testing.
- Develop software according to business and technical requirements, create test data, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Conduct performance and stress testing to ensure software responsiveness and appropriate resource utilization.
- Support the identification, design, and development of automation to improve quality and team efficiency.
- Participate in retrospectives and implement process improvement ideas.
- Participate in or lead client product and feature demonstrations.
- Identify and manage risks in support of release goals.
- Address and resolve issues identified by clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, completed and verified before starting.
- At least 3 years of experience developing software using object-oriented principles.
- Preferred experience with Java development, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Preferred experience with JavaScript/TypeScript UI development and Angular.
- Proficiency with Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio for development and debugging.
- Experience with web services and web application development, JSON objects, and GitHub source control.
- Experience working in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-hosted environments.
- Knowledge of PL SQL, relational database design, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, UI accessibility standards including WCAG/508, and Jira backlog management.
- Exposure to generative or agentic AI tools and Agile methodology.
- Experience working with distributed team members, plus strong verbal and written communication and logical problem-solving skills.
