Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for the squad, ensuring quality, predictability, and adherence to architectural standards.
- Lead technical refinement with the product team and translate business needs into viable, appropriately scoped solutions.
- Support squad backlog organization by prioritizing technical debt, architectural risks, and AI automation opportunities.
- Lead adoption and evolution of agentic development tools, particularly Claude Code, across multidisciplinary squads.
- Define and disseminate AI-assisted development methods based on Spec-Driven Development, including Spec-Kit and BMAD.
- Design and implement agentic engineering processes for AI-assisted code review, test generation and maintenance, refactoring, living documentation, and PR automation.
- Act as a systems architect by evaluating trade-offs and defining integration patterns between agents and services across iOS, Android, and BFF systems.
- Mentor engineers and increase team maturity in AI-assisted engineering.
Requirements
- Deep practical experience with agentic development tools, particularly Claude Code.
- Strong knowledge of Spec-Driven Development, including Spec-Kit and/or BMAD, and the ability to adapt these methods to real product contexts.
- Strong systems perspective across architecture, dependencies, and cross-team impacts.
- Technical leadership experience with multidisciplinary iOS, Android, and BFF/Java teams.
- Experience leading technical refinement and backlog organization in partnership with Product Owners.
- Direct responsibility for the technical delivery of squads.
- Established experience applying agentic processes to development, including AI-assisted code review, QA agents, and pipeline automation.
- Current knowledge of emerging agentic workflows and the ability to adapt them to operational realities.
- Experience in insurance, payments, or regulated financial products is preferred.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and building custom agents for engineering workflows is preferred.
