Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced native applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase, including continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Integrate third-party libraries and APIs.
- Coordinate with the design team to follow UI/UX best practices.
- Address security vulnerabilities and help maintain a secure application environment.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Write maintainable code and flexible tests for application functionality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building native Android applications.
- Hands-on experience building mobile applications with Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of Android application design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns including MVVM and MVP, with experience creating modular and scalable application architecture.
- Strong focus on usability, user interaction, and interface quality.
- Ability to take ownership of feature and product development.
- Experience determining what to test, why to test it, and how to write flexible tests.
- Experience with Agile practices, including pairing and TDD.
- Ability to collaborate on technical challenges and grow within a team.
