Base Salary
$187k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build agent runtimes and orchestration systems covering planning, tool use, memory, and coordination.
- Improve agent reliability through retries, failure handling, and state management.
- Make agents observable through tracing, debugging, and evaluation systems.
- Optimize agent execution for cost and performance.
- Build production systems that people can depend on rather than demonstrations.
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, and external data into coherent working systems.
- Define how developers build, debug, and extend agent behavior.
- Own substantial parts of the system and move quickly from ideas to working products.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience shipping real systems that people depend on.
- Experience turning ambiguous problems into working products and understanding production failure modes, tradeoffs, and reliability.
- Experience building or deeply exploring agent systems, LLM pipelines, or automation beyond simple demos.
- Strong backend or systems experience in distributed systems, APIs, or infrastructure.
- Proficiency in at least one core language such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust.
- Experience with reliability patterns including state management, retries, and observability.
- Ability to work across the stack when needed.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom systems is preferred.
- Experience with multi-agent or orchestration systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation, prompting, or performance tuning is preferred.
- Experience with workflow engines such as Temporal, Airflow, or Dagster is preferred.
- Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or internal tools is preferred.
- Exposure to retrieval systems, vector databases, or memory architectures is preferred.
- Interest in crypto, distributed systems, or verifiable compute is preferred.
