Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services in C#/.NET using Azure and Kubernetes.
- Develop secure methods for internal services to connect to multiple cloud service providers.
- Create self-service tools that improve platform supportability and enable other service teams.
- Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures across microservices.
- Own end-to-end delivery, including Terraform infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and platform teams and participate in code and design reviews.
- Use AI coding agents in the design, implementation, and review process while maintaining the standards of manually written code.
- Strengthen Delinea’s identity and access management ecosystem through high-quality engineering and innovation.
- Lead and mentor within a collaborative engineering environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET and microservices architectures.
- Experience with C#, Cosmos, SQL Server, ADX, .NET, Angular, TypeScript, Go, Python, Terraform, and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, microservices, and cloud security fundamentals.
- Ability to diagnose complex cross-service issues using telemetry tools such as Datadog RUM and internal services.
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML systems using the Model Context Protocol or similar AI frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and privileged access control.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teammates.
- Preferred experience with application registration, API keys, SPIFFE, Workload Identity Federation, SaaS products, Datadog RUM, Grafana, AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, data compliance management, Agile software development, and continuous delivery environments.
