Base Salary
$130k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, resiliency, availability, and operational excellence of distributed Cashiering and Move Money platforms.
- Manage application reliability through Service Level Objectives, monitoring practices, and operational health management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across applications, platforms, infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Lead complex production incident resolution efforts and coordinate with development, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams.
- Support production readiness processes, CI/CD pipelines, operational support practices, and continuous improvement.
- Use observability, automation, and data-driven decision making to identify issues and optimize operational efficiency.
- Influence resiliency strategies, disaster recovery planning, and operational standards.
- Mentor team members and promote operational best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting production applications, software engineering, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related technology environments.
- Experience with SLOs, monitoring, operational health management, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
- Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, AppDynamics, or ThousandEyes.
- Strong knowledge of Cashiering and Move Money functions, including Wires, ACH, Journals, Checks, and Check Deposits.
- Experience reviewing and troubleshooting .NET and Java applications.
- Experience with AI-enabled productivity and automation tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Working knowledge of Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Control-M, SQL Server, DB2, and IT service management disciplines.
- Preferred experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, Linux administration, RHEL, shell scripting, Python, Perl, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Preferred knowledge of disaster recovery, resiliency planning, business continuity, network services, SAN, and NAS storage.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to coordinate during critical incidents.
