Base Salary
$167k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, troubleshoot, test, and enhance software applications and operating systems.
- Architect and build scalable, reliable, secure enterprise-grade applications and versioned REST APIs.
- Own products across the full lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, deployment, maintenance, user acceptance, and support.
- Implement authentication and authorization integrations, including MFA/2FA, OAuth, LDAP, secure sign-in, and re-authentication flows.
- Develop backend services, responsive frontend interfaces, database models and queries, microservices, event-driven systems, and asynchronous processing.
- Integrate cloud capabilities including serverless compute, API gateways, workflow orchestration, event streaming, managed databases, caching, and monitoring.
- Implement automated unit testing, API contract testing, CI/CD pipelines, build engineering, source-code management, observability, and production incident triage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Six years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a software developer-related occupation.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented programming, design patterns, enterprise services, and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and evolving REST APIs and building enterprise-grade distributed applications.
- Experience with authentication and authorization technologies, automated testing, API contract testing, and secure application development.
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, AngularJS or React, SQL data modeling and querying, Kafka, and asynchronous systems.
- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Splunk, New Relic, ALM/Rally, and structured API formats or specifications.
- Experience balancing scalability, reliability, and security in complex, multi-team production environments.
