Responsibilities
- Create effective automation test strategies and plans.
- Create or adapt automation frameworks and test scripts within BDD environments.
- Perform manual and automated functional, API, web, and mobile testing.
- Integrate automation assets into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Manage and maintain test assets in Git and other repositories.
- Use test management, API testing, data masking, and data subsetting tools and practices.
- Manage a small team of test engineers and collaborate with developers, testers, analysts, architects, and other colleagues.
- Obtain and maintain the required UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
Requirements
- Experience using at least two test automation tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Tricentis Tosca.
- Familiarity with at least one OOP language, such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks and BDD test scripts using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar tools.
- Experience with Git or other repositories and with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Experience with functional, API, web, mobile, manual, and automated testing.
- Experience working in waterfall, Agile, and DevOps environments.
- Experience using test management tools such as Jira, TFS, or OpenText ALM and API tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or SoapUI.
- Experience with data masking and data subsetting.
- Experience managing a small team of test engineers.
- ISTQB Foundation-level or higher certification, or willingness to obtain the certification after joining.
- Ability to obtain SC clearance, including continuous UK residence for the last five years and satisfaction of other eligibility criteria.
