Responsibilities
- Scale automated infrastructure-as-code pipelines managing thousands of GPU and CPU nodes across diverse environments.
- Design and optimize workload orchestration to maximize hardware utilization, minimize job wait times, and support massive-scale distributed training.
- Design robust extraction and transformation pipelines for petabyte-scale sensor and telemetry data.
- Implement feature caching and storage solutions that reduce redundant computation and provide low-latency access to pre-computed features.
- Contribute to a unified ML platform that abstracts complex cloud infrastructure for researchers and engineers.
- Execute technical strategy for automated resource provisioning, high-performance workload scheduling, and efficient feature management.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in ML Infrastructure, Backend Platform Engineering, or Distributed Systems.
- Deep familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and provisioning tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Hands-on experience building or managing large-scale compute workload orchestrators such as Kubernetes, KubeRay, Ray, Slurm, or Volcano.
- Proficiency with at least one distributed processing framework such as Apache Spark or Apache Beam.
- Experience implementing or maintaining feature stores and caching layers such as Feast, Hopsworks, or Redis-based custom caching.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, and storage bottlenecks in high-performance computing.
- Open-source contributions to MLOps or cloud-native ecosystems such as CNCF, Ray, or Kubeflow are a bonus.
- Experience with high-performance storage systems such as Lustre, Ceph, or specialized NVMe caching is a bonus.
- Knowledge of cost-optimization strategies for large-scale GPU clusters in AWS, GCP, or Azure is a bonus.
Benefits
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
