Nuro

Build safety-critical embedded software that connects Nuro’s autonomous-driving platform to vehicle steering, braking, propulsion, and other actuators. You’ll work across automotive microcontroller software, integrate new vehicle platforms, and see your code operate real self-driving vehicles on public roads.

Senior Software Engineer focused on transforming Nuro’s autonomy verification and validation ecosystem through automated testing pipelines, unified triage workflows, and scalable tooling. The role helps establish evidence that autonomous systems meet safety requirements.

Design and deploy production controls software that translates autonomous driving trajectories into safe, precise vehicle motion across parking lots, highways, and varied conditions. This role offers the opportunity to see controls work operating on Nuro’s L4 autonomous vehicles worldwide.

Build and strengthen the infrastructure security systems that protect Nuro’s autonomous delivery technology, user data, and engineering environments. This hands-on role spans security tooling, cloud and application security, vulnerability remediation, authentication, and detection and response.

Join Nuro’s robotics team to build real-time pose estimation software that enables safe, reliable navigation for autonomous vehicles and mobile robots. You’ll develop sensor-fusion algorithms and production C/C++ systems for real-world, uncertain environments.

Build safety-critical embedded software for Nuro’s autonomous vehicles, spanning automotive microcontrollers, RTOS, drivers, middleware, and vehicle interfaces. Bring software up on new vehicle platforms and validate it on benches and public-road vehicles.

Build and maintain the release infrastructure, fleet connectivity, and over-the-air update systems that keep Nuro’s autonomous vehicle fleet reliable and up to date. This role spans cloud and robot systems, with a focus on distributed systems, performance optimization, and robust software delivery.

Build high-precision collision avoidance and safety systems for Nuro’s Level 4 autonomous vehicles. You’ll work across perception, planning, and control under demanding latency and reliability requirements.
