Base Salary

$37k - $82k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate software using Ada, C++, and Python.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers on military technology planning, design, and development.
  • Implement requirements, detailed designs, software, integration, and verification according to software development processes.
  • Perform multiple tasks with mentor support and complete work according to program schedules.
  • Collaborate with teammates in an Agile, cross-domain development environment.

Requirements

  • Be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a STEM field through completion of the internship or co-op session.
  • Have at least 29 credit hours by the start of the internship.
  • Have familiarity with software design and development using languages such as C, C++, or Java.
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. person, or meet the stated immigration-status requirements for access to the program or contract.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with the Agile software development cycle, collaborative development experience, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
