Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable software systems using languages including C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, OCAML, and Python.
- Design flexible APIs for teams developing web and mobile applications.
- Identify and drive changes for assigned codebases, product areas, and systems.
- Perform team-specific engineering responsibilities based on experience and interests.
Requirements
- Currently hold or be pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Have research or work experience in areas such as algorithms, architecture, compilers, databases, data mining, distributed systems, mobile, networking, operating systems, programming languages, security, cryptography, or storage.
- Have experience with systems software or algorithms.
- Have coding experience in C++, Java, PHP, or Python.
- Demonstrate cross-group and cross-cultural collaboration experience.
- Obtain and maintain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Preferred qualifications include intent to return to the degree program, software engineering experience through internships, work, coding competitions, or PhD papers, and significant achievements demonstrated through grants, fellowships, patents, or publications.
Benefits
