Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Telematics Core software components for connected vehicles.
- Design and implement device management, connectivity management, vehicle data collection, cloud communication, remote diagnostics, OTA updates, vehicle health monitoring, and cybersecurity services.
- Integrate telematics applications with CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN, and FlexRay vehicle networks.
- Enable secure vehicle-to-cloud communication using MQTT, HTTPS, WebSocket, and REST APIs.
- Analyze customer requirements and convert them into software design specifications.
- Develop reusable software components following AUTOSAR and Automotive SPICE processes.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Support vehicle bring-up, system integration, and production issue resolution.
- Mentor teams and collaborate with Platform, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Validation, and Program Management teams.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C and C++.
- Experience with multithreading, IPC concepts, socket programming, and Linux system programming.
- Knowledge of automotive telematics, Telematics Control Units, and connected vehicle ecosystems.
- Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229), DoIP, and OBD-II.
- Knowledge of MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, WebSocket, TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS.
- Understanding of embedded systems, automotive software architectures, real-time operating systems, AUTOSAR, and Automotive SPICE processes.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create software designs, debug systems, optimize performance, and support vehicle integration.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
