Responsibilities
- Translate application designs and technology stacks into code across services and other development platforms.
- Design, develop, test, implement, document, and support secure, stable, testable, and maintainable applications.
- Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Boot and database technologies.
- Analyze application systems, support feasibility studies and estimates, and implement new or revised systems.
- Understand application architecture, dependencies, runtime operations, business requirements, and customer use cases.
- Participate in system design, performance, build, and architecture discussions and represent team systems to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain integrated project development schedules accounting for dependencies, constraints, and delays.
- Help prioritize features, reach consensus with customers and teams, and communicate technical and timeline dependencies.
- Improve development processes and automate code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while supporting compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in an application development role.
- Strong development experience with Java, microservices, Spring Boot, and databases.
- Working experience with UI and Angular is a plus.
- Experience running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services.
- Experience executing infrastructure programs and working with third-party service providers.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated execution capabilities and ability to work with autonomy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
