Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure covering networking, identity, security, compute, and storage.
- Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters using EKS, maintain Helm charts, and debug applications running in clusters.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and cloud CLIs, with awareness of CloudFormation limitations.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve logging, metrics, tracing, and reliability using SRE practices.
- Drive security, compliance, and cost optimization across multi-cloud environments.
- Restructure Azure subscriptions and permission concepts to improve tenant control and compliance.
- Build replacement systems for legacy components and own them over the long term.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects that improve the technology environment and internal processes.
Requirements
- Around 3 years of hands-on, infrastructure-focused cloud operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of Azure and/or AWS, with willingness to learn and work with the other cloud.
- Practical Kubernetes experience, ideally including cluster setup and management, Helm charts, and workload debugging.
- Proficiency with Terraform and cloud CLIs.
- Experience with CI/CD; GitLab CI experience is a plus.
- Experience with landing zone patterns, enterprise permission models, and security, compliance, or cost optimization in multi-cloud environments is advantageous.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar certification is advantageous.
- Fluent English is required; German and/or Swedish is a plus.
- Ability to self-manage, take initiative, collaborate, and contribute practical solutions from day one.
