Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the trading engine through benchmarking, device evaluation, and latency and throughput analysis.
- Develop tools and applications for benchmarking new devices and software.
- Assist with performance troubleshooting and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Trading, Quant, and Technology teams to improve systems, infrastructure footprint, and latency across strategies and exchanges.
- Review proprietary systems to identify bottlenecks and improve the technology stack.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in a technical field such as Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering.
- Strong C++ or Python programming background with demonstrated experience developing performant, scalable applications.
- Experience analyzing and tuning operating systems, compilers, networking, I/O subsystems, or accelerators.
- Exposure to statistical and experimental methods and tools for testing performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing market conditions and solve mathematical and coding problems.
