Base Salary

$90k - $117k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, test, deploy, and support software applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technology solutions.
  • Develop backend components using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Troubleshoot software systems, optimize performance, resolve issues, and provide follow-up support.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply security coding best practices.
  • Create software documentation and user manuals.
  • Work on moderate to complex projects and support software development leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of related experience or successful completion of United's DT Early Career Digital Leadership Program.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and backend component development.
  • Knowledge of cloud development using AWS or Azure, RESTful APIs, event message processing, and OAuth.
  • Experience with NoSQL and relational databases including Mongo, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, Postgres, and Redis.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle processes, development methodologies, software design, design patterns, and relevant technologies.
  • Preferred qualifications include exposure to Dynatrace, Datadog, .NET, C, C++, C#, TFS, GitHub, Chef, Ansible, HTML, JavaScript, Angular, React, CSS, Couchbase, mobile technologies, and DevOps.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of an interview and reliable, punctual attendance are required.
