Base Salary

$85k - $96k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, maintain, and enhance insurance rating products within the CGI Ratabase/Ratabase360 platform.
  • Develop rating algorithms, underwriting rules, discounts, surcharges, and product configurations.
  • Translate business requirements from actuaries and business analysts into rating solutions.
  • Support product launches, state expansions, and regulatory filing implementations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with policy administration systems, quoting platforms, portals, and third-party data providers.
  • Perform unit, system integration, and regression testing for rating changes.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot rating discrepancies, production issues, and performance concerns.
  • Create technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in Agile planning, estimation, reviews, and releases.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of experience with CGI Ratabase or similar insurance rating platforms.
  • Experience implementing insurance pricing and rating solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Property and Casualty insurance products.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with API-based integrations and web services.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience with Ratabase360 cloud implementations and integrations with policy administration systems.
  • Preferred knowledge of insurance regulatory filing processes, actuarial pricing concepts, rate development, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Workers Compensation, Auto, Homeowners, or Specialty insurance products is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Cloud, ETL and data integration tools, Git, Azure DevOps, and insurance data modeling.
