Responsibilities
- Deploy Game Warden and other Second Front products across AWS, Azure, GCP, and sovereign-cloud infrastructure in European regions.
- Architect sovereignty- and GDPR-compliant landing zones and reference architectures without single-vendor lock-in.
- Govern Kubernetes, container runtimes, and infrastructure-as-code tooling for repeatable deployments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD, networking, identity, observability, and security controls for regulated and potentially air-gapped environments.
- Implement technical controls and documentation supporting EAL, FedRAMP, GovRAMP, NATO, UK MOD, and equivalent accreditation regimes.
- Prepare production environments, sequence rollouts and upgrades, and provide runbooks and technical evidence to implementation and delivery teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud infrastructure, SRE, or systems engineering experience in production environments.
- Deep experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent cloud platforms at scale.
- Production-grade Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
- Hands-on experience maintaining infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience building, securing, and operating CI/CD pipelines under regulatory or high-assurance compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge of networking, IAM, SAML/OAuth, APIs, and distributed-systems troubleshooting.
- Fluent English and ability to collaborate asynchronously across distributed engineering teams.
- EU citizenship from one of the 27 EU member states and the right to work in the EU.
- Preferred qualifications include government or NATO security clearance or eligibility to obtain one; experience with air-gapped, classified, or high-assurance environments; familiarity with EAL/Common Criteria, FedRAMP, GovRAMP, NATO, UK MOD, NIS-2, or CRA accreditation processes; and proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust for internal tooling.
