Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and standardize reusable CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI.
- Create governed “golden pipeline” templates for Terraform, Maven, Node, ArgoCD, and Liquibase workflows.
- Operationalize Liquibase database deployment pipelines supporting Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Configure, troubleshoot, scale, and secure GitLab Runners and pipeline execution environments.
- Support AWS EKS and Kubernetes-based workloads, including future production EKS setup or support.
- Apply Terraform and enterprise DevOps practices for infrastructure promotion, approvals, and governance.
- Apply enterprise security controls including firewall rules, ERSA/IAM roles, least-privilege access, and protection of privileged automation paths.
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, operations, and platform teams to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, troubleshoot failures, and document reusable patterns.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience with hands-on CI/CD delivery.
- Practical experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI.
- Experience with Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and EKS.
- Experience scripting with Bash or Python.
- Understanding of reusable and governed pipeline templates rather than one-off scripts.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, environment promotion, approvals, and enterprise governance.
- Awareness of enterprise security controls, least-privilege access, IAM roles, and highly privileged automation paths.
- Preferred experience with Liquibase in CI/CD workflows, Oracle, PostgreSQL, reusable pipeline frameworks, GitLab Runner configuration, and secure pipeline execution patterns.
