Base Salary
$137k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and software test infrastructure using Jest and Playwright.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, manual, automated, and edge-case test strategies.
- Perform debugging, root cause analysis, defect investigation, and risk analysis across multiple environments.
- Configure test environments, manage test data, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers on test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes.
- Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics.
- Improve testing methodologies and processes and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jest and Playwright for front-end and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing in fast-paced development environments.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for test automation.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and risk-based testing.
- Experience testing applications across dynamic and multi-environment setups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, debugging, and system-dependency analysis skills.
