Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and execute automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers.
- Test and validate internally built LLMs and external AI tools and services, including non-deterministic features.
- Own test planning, execution, and release support from story validation through production deployment.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to turn ambiguous requirements into testable acceptance criteria.
- Advocate for software quality, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor mid-level quality engineers.
- Establish defect tracking, triage, and communication practices and use AI tooling for issue detection, reproduction, and resolution.
- Monitor production health, surface release risks and defect trends, and support production escalations.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
- At least five years of experience building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright, with familiarity with Selenium, Jest, Vitest, or Mocha.
- Experience across manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, database, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Experience with Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines, GitHub Actions, and AWS.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with performance tools such as k6, JMeter, or Locust.
- Experience with observability and error tracking tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.
- Industry experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning and online education platforms.
- Preferred experience testing AI-driven features, LLM outputs, or ML-backed services.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools including GCP and CircleCI.
- Strong communication, quality ownership, production escalation, and mentoring capabilities.
