- Maintain bidirectional traceability among requirements, design, tests, and results.
- Perform target-based, software-software integration, hardware-software integration, system, and regression testing.
- Support statement, decision, and MC/DC coverage analysis and investigate coverage gaps, dead code, and unintended functionality.
- Conduct formal reviews, verification activities, failure investigations, root-cause analysis, anomaly verification, change-impact analysis, and regression strategy definition.
- Keep test artefacts, tools, scripts, equipment configurations, and results reviewed, baselined, and configuration controlled.
- Develop Python test automation, reusable libraries, test data, and result-processing utilities.
- Automate the test environment, including interface boards, pressure-control equipment, power supplies, and laboratory instruments.
- Support qualification of verification tools under DO-330/ED-215 and ensure tools are used within their approved or qualified scope.
Requirements
- Experience verifying safety-critical or high-integrity embedded software on target hardware.
- Practical knowledge of DO-178C or a comparable safety lifecycle, including requirements-based testing, independence, traceability, and objective evidence.
- Python test automation experience plus embedded C/C++ and debugging experience.
- Experience producing and reviewing controlled test plans, procedures, cases, scripts, reports, and traceability evidence.
- Knowledge of boundary-value, equivalence-partition, state-transition, decision-table, robustness, and fault-injection testing.
