Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own and deliver simulation test suites for autonomous-vehicle software, including bulk test production, maintenance, orchestration, and end-to-end workflow pipelines.
- Automate and standardize test creation and maintenance while integrating evaluation systems to guide test construction, triage, and retirement.
- Partner with autonomy, systems, safety, infrastructure, operations, and customer teams to translate testing needs into tooling, interfaces, and automation.
- Build backend services, data pipelines, production infrastructure, analytics, and evaluation feedback loops for scalable simulation testing.
- Lead technical design and execution across teams, uphold software architecture and code-quality standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
- Turn ambiguous simulation-testing problems into practical production solutions while maintaining engineering quality and execution velocity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, and operating production software, backend services, data platforms, or infrastructure systems.
- Strong Python development skills, including production-quality coding, unit testing, code review, debugging, and reliability practices.
- Experience building scalable backend systems, APIs, microservices, workflow orchestration, or internal engineering platforms.
- Experience with cloud-based production systems, deployment, observability, performance, and operational reliability.
- Experience designing or operating data pipelines and data-processing systems using SQL, NoSQL, and other tools for large-scale operational, telemetry, or time-series data.
- Experience with automated tests, validation, quality checks, release workflows, technical design, and cross-team execution.
- Preferred experience includes autonomous vehicles, robotics, simulation, evaluation systems, automated test generation or execution, anomaly detection, operational analytics, safety-critical products, cloud-native deployment, containerization, or distributed systems.
