Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and define solution requirements.
- Conduct discovery sessions to analyze customers' existing EDI infrastructure and integration challenges.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure EDI solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
- Explain complex EDI workflows and transaction lifecycle processes in a customer-friendly manner.
- Lead the technical response to RFPs and RFIs, including solution architecture and compliance details.
- Design EDI workflows and system architecture diagrams.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between the customer and internal teams during the presales cycle.
- Support account executives in building trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Stay up to date with global EDI standards and integration technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 - 7+ years of experience in EDI solution design, implementation, or support.
- 5+ years in a presales, sales engineering, or customer-facing consulting role.
- Strong knowledge of EDI formats and standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools.
- Familiarity with iPaaS technologies.
- Familiarity with standard B2B protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and APIs.
- Experience with ERP systems integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
