Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test avionics hardware and software for orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, and moon landers.
- Contribute to software verification and testing activities.
- Work directly with Blue Origin engineering teams on business-unit projects.
- Participate in mentorship, feedback, and organizational learning events.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
- Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
- Must meet the stated U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, refugee, or asylum eligibility requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Desired qualifications include relevant internship, co-op, academic project, research, embedded software, software verification and testing, CI/CD, ARINC standards, UML/software design, and programming experience in C, C++, Python, JavaScript, Shell, or Rust.
