Responsibilities
- Develop and improve software that controls satellites.
- Work on embedded systems, simulations, and user interfaces.
- Improve microcontroller devices used in space.
- Write embedded software for new hardware components used in future spacecraft.
- Complete an assigned project with guidance from a dedicated mentor.
Requirements
- Be graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Be pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Have proficiency in C or C++.
- Spring interns must be available to pause or adjust academic commitments for the 10–12 week program.
- Meet Apex’s ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. Person or be able to obtain the required export authorizations.
