Base Salary

$109k - $126k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, build, test, deploy, and operate innovative products and services.
  • Break down complex and ambiguous problems into well-defined components before implementation.
  • Contribute to scalable and reliable services with distributed-systems scope varying by team.
  • Participate in code reviews, including validating AI-generated code for correctness.
  • Write clear technical documentation and maintain clean, maintainable code using software design patterns.
  • Use generative AI and AI-powered tools to improve development productivity while critically validating their output.
  • Work in an agile environment with CI/CD principles and participate in operational responsibilities, including on-call duties.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while demonstrating operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools in an academic or professional setting.
  • Must work at least 40 hours per week and commit to a maximum 12-week internship.
  • Expected degree conferral date must be between October 2027 and September 2029.
  • Must have at least one academic quarter, semester, or trimester remaining after the internship concludes.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior technical internship or project experience, cloud platforms, database systems, AI development tools, open-source contributions, and version-control systems.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of software development lifecycles and strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, learning, and adaptability skills.
