Responsibilities
- Design and implement the first centralized automation framework, including automation scope, test data strategy, and reporting standards.
- Build automated API, integration, Web UI, end-to-end, regression, smoke, asynchronous workflow, scheduled-job, and file-based test suites.
- Develop SQL-based assertions to validate transaction state machines, processing results, and cross-service data consistency.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain connectivity checks for key dependencies before releases.
- Track defects, verify fixes, report quality risks, and ensure automated test results meet release standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on environment readiness, test data setup, and release validation.
- Align automation coverage with financial regulatory and payment-industry quality requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of test automation or test development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience with API/integration and Web UI automation, including independently designing, building, or maintaining automation systems.
- Proficiency in Java or Python, HTTP/API testing, and SQL-based database validation.
- Familiarity with message queues, scheduled jobs, cross-service state transitions, and troubleshooting through logs.
- Experience integrating tests with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Alibaba Cloud DevOps is a plus.
- Experience in payment, fintech, or cross-border financial systems is preferred but not required.
- Experience building automation frameworks or smoke-test tooling from 0 to 1 is preferred.
- Performance testing experience with tools such as JMeter, and familiarity with Redis, OpenFeign call chains, SFTP/file-based testing, or Node.js are preferred.
