Responsibilities
- Design and develop software test tools and automation test code using programming languages such as Java and Python.
- Develop and maintain automated integration, interface, SDK API, and UI automation test code.
- Design test plans, develop test cases and procedures, and execute complex testing.
- Perform quantitative technical analysis, test-result analysis, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate records including test plans, test data, analyses, communications, and final reports.
- Participate in code reviews and identify and correct problematic code sections.
- Provide technical recommendations, troubleshooting methods, and solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Coach or influence junior engineers during design, development, and testing activities.
- Contribute ideas to improve documentation, processes, performance, and product reliability.
- Configure and troubleshoot network-related issues involving switches, wireless routers, and servers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in software testing, including 3–5 years in test-tool development or automated test-code development.
- Rich experience developing software test tools, SDK API tests, or UI automation tests.
- Mastery of at least one or two programming languages; C# and Java are preferred.
- Familiarity with software development and testing methodologies across Windows, iOS, Android, macOS, and Linux.
- Printer products or printer-related software experience is preferred.
- Mobile application development with Android SDK, or automation testing with Selenium or Appium, is preferred.
- Network background knowledge, including switch, wireless router, and server configuration, is preferred.
- Strong planning and organization skills and effective English communication skills are required.
