Base Salary
$137k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain feature-level and end-to-end software test scenarios for complex products.
- Analyze product requirements and architecture to define test strategies, coverage, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports; manage defects through resolution.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to identify product risks, edge cases, and failure modes.
- Build and maintain automated tests where they provide clear value, contributing to existing frameworks.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, and product teams to improve testability and overall quality.
- Support test environments, tools, and test execution across projects and releases.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote strong testing practices and a quality-first mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or test engineering roles.
- Strong experience validating feature-level behavior and cross-component workflows.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Experience with test automation, including writing and maintaining automated tests (Python preferred).
- Experience working in environments with hardware and software dependencies.
- Practical knowledge of Linux environments, Git workflows, and CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of software development practices, defect investigation, and root cause analysis.
