Base Salary
$140k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions for globally distributed authentication products.
- Build services, APIs, and full-stack applications while contributing unit, functional, integration, acceptance, and system tests.
- Design architectures across dependent services, service interactions, policies, and non-functional requirements.
- Lead automated, chaos, resilience, and failure-testing strategies to validate system behavior under adverse conditions.
- Drive operational readiness, observability, reliability, monitoring, production support, and resolution of complex distributed-system issues.
- Establish code-review, static-analysis, secure-coding, and engineering-quality governance practices.
- Mentor engineers, coach teams on full-stack development and service ownership, conduct technical interviews, and raise engineering standards.
- Partner with product and business owners and collaborate across organizational boundaries on prioritization, delivery planning, reuse, and architectural trade-offs.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing software solutions and delivering full-stack applications for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Strong experience building Java microservices and user-interface components with React or Angular.
- Experience deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of encryption and decryption, PKI, hashing, JWT, OAuth, OIDC, zero trust, and application security principles.
- Experience designing for performance, scalability, availability, extensibility, maintainability, supportability, observability, and reliability.
- Experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems and applying root-cause analysis through resolution.
- Experience with code-review practices, automated testing strategies, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
- Experience leading chaos engineering, resilience testing, and advanced operational or failure-testing practices.
- Experience with Agile and modern software development lifecycle practices, including Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD, DevOps, and Quality Engineering.
- Strong communication, mentoring, prioritization, adaptability, and cross-functional leadership skills.
