Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of the next-generation edge platform and backend services.
- Drive architecture decisions and establish engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Lead technical initiatives from conception through production deployment.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams on technical strategy and roadmaps.
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical guidance.
- Address bottlenecks, reliability risks, scalability challenges, production incidents, and root causes.
- Define testing strategies covering unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Champion automation, observability, secure coding, threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and security-by-design.
- Influence cross-team adoption of platform capabilities and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong Golang experience and cloud-native application development experience.
- Experience designing and operating highly available, scalable, and resilient platforms.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, APIs, messaging systems, networked applications, algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and distributed computing.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevSecOps practices.
- Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, and modern software delivery tooling.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical leadership across teams.
