Base Salary
$170k - $281k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform and solution architecture design addressing non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to develop high-level designs.
- Develop critical components and proofs of concept for new or unknown use cases.
- Conduct code reviews and own overall code quality.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
- Write and review design documentation.
- Perform source-code management operations including branching, merging, tagging, and conflict resolution.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify improvements to existing solutions.
- Participate in organizational process improvement, knowledge sharing, and compliance activities.
Requirements
- Experience technically leading at least one Scrum team, including feature refinement, low-level design, code review, troubleshooting, guidance, and mentoring.
- Expert hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring IoC, Spring AOP, Spring Security, SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, JSON, SOAP, Kafka, and Zookeeper.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices and deploying them on Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience using IntelliJ, Eclipse, MyEclipse, MS Visio, and PlantUML.
- Experience writing JUnit test cases and working with Maven, Ant, Gradle, and Git.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, design patterns, and enterprise application security concepts and protocols.
- Strong logical, analytical, design, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Payment application domain experience is desirable.
- Experience with Mockito, JBehave, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, and Rally is desirable.
