- Build prompt layers, automation flows, lightweight agents, RAG implementations, and API integrations for scoped business use cases.
- Prototype AI workflow solutions quickly, refine them through feedback, and take them to a deployable state.
- Translate workflow assessments into technical designs, select appropriate tools, and own implementation through delivery.
- Maintain documentation suitable for handoff, iteration, and audit by technical and business stakeholders.
- Embed with business teams to map workflows, identify opportunities for AI leverage, and build stakeholder trust through working solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing, early adoption, troubleshooting, and post-launch iteration.
- Create demos and proof-of-concepts, contribute to vendor and tool evaluations, and share learnings with the AI Program Office.
- Handle tactical quick wins and longer-term builds across multiple active use cases.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience including meaningful work in a business-facing function such as operations, finance, marketing, customer success, or HR.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, or n8n, API integrations, RAG architectures, and agent frameworks.
- Ability to understand messy business processes and build solutions that improve their speed or effectiveness.
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, explain solutions clearly, and manage iterative delivery.
- Ability to independently use code or no-code tools to deliver deployable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects at different stages.
- Bonus: experience with G&A, Finance, Legal, Marketing Ops, or Customer Success workflows.
- Bonus: familiarity with AI governance, data handling, PII awareness, and security or privacy reviews.
- Bonus: experience in a small program or startup environment, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or storage companies.
- Bonus: a portfolio, GitHub, or examples of AI workflows or automations.
