Responsibilities

  • Implement enterprise-level, tailor-made multi-tier applications.
  • Integrate applications with third-party applications and data sources.
  • Work closely with software engineers, quality assurance engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Use workflow, document management, content management, portal systems, and relevant frameworks.
  • Draft technical documentation and design algorithms.
  • Deliver high-quality work, meet tight deadlines, and build client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • At least four years of relevant professional software development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Experience with Java programming and frameworks including Servlets, JDBC, EJBs, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring.
  • Knowledge of JSP, JSF, React, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL, including Oracle DB, MSSQL, DB2, or MySQL.
  • Knowledge of client-server architecture and SOAP/REST web services.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other version control systems such as SVN or Git, project/task management systems such as Jira, and Maven.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, and technical documentation skills, including professional communication in English and Greek.
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
