Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and architect complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and declarative capabilities.
- Make Salesforce out-of-the-box versus custom solution decisions with emphasis on scalable and maintainable architectures.
- Design and integrate AI-powered features, LLM services, RAG patterns, tool/function calling, and workflow orchestration into Salesforce solutions.
- Integrate AI services with Salesforce and downstream systems through APIs, platform events, and middleware.
- Ensure production-grade AI controls for accuracy, reliability, security, access control, observability, logging, and error handling.
- Lead and mentor developers, conduct technical and architectural reviews, and define reusable engineering standards and reference implementations.
- Own service health, reliability, performance, incident root cause analysis, remediation, and enterprise AI governance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud, or Quote-to-Cash platforms.
- Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and the Salesforce data model.
- Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Hands-on production experience building and integrating AI solutions beyond packaged Salesforce AI features.
- Strong understanding of API-driven architectures, system integrations, and enterprise security models.
- Preferred experience with prompt engineering, RAG, agent or tool orchestration, AI evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, and integration with Azure OpenAI or OpenAI APIs.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or relevant AI or cloud certifications is preferred.
