Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical problems and implement scalable software architectures with minimal supervision.
- Develop and package critical software components using backend and full-stack technologies.
- Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD platforms, automation toolchains, and automated build and release processes.
- Build and operate Kubernetes and cloud-native platform capabilities, including service mesh, networking, GitOps, and deployment tooling.
- Apply secure coding, application security, software quality, reliability, scalability, and performance practices throughout the SDLC.
- Collaborate across engineering, operations, business, and global cross-functional teams to enable seamless delivery and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, and Linux system administration.
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, cloud-native platform engineering, and air-gap bridge architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Istio, Cilium, BGP networking, Linux administration, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated release processes.
- Backend proficiency in one or more of Golang, Python, or Java, with experience in relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience writing Helm charts and using Zarf, Argo CD, GitOps, and Kubernetes deployment workflows.
- Experience with secure coding standards, application security, software quality assurance, software-defined storage such as Longhorn or S3, and performance troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, and the LGTM stack is preferred.
- Full-stack programming knowledge with Spring Boot and Angular is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, influencing, time-management, and cross-cultural teamwork skills.
