Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, software design, coding, testing, and deployment in compliance with DO-178B guidelines.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Flight Management System user-interface software.
- Implement Linux services to port applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams to define requirements and deliver software.
- Create software documentation and user manuals.
- Test and verify system and software requirements in a laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or another technical discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience in Flight Management System product software development.
- Experience in user-interface software development and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Embedded C++.
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- Familiarity with build and debug toolchains and software development methodologies.
- Willingness to address real-time concurrent-process challenges in multicore environments.
- U.S. Person status or the ability to obtain export authorization due to U.S. export-control requirements.
