Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to shape product quality.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into test strategies.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test documentation and test plans.
  • Perform manual and automated exploratory, functional, acceptance, regression, and UI testing of web applications.
  • Test REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services for robustness and correctness.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects, and lead root cause analysis with developers.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements and engineering performance initiatives.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform manual and automated accessibility testing against WCAG/ADA standards.
  • Contribute to performance and security testing efforts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software QA experience.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, test design techniques, web technologies, client-server architecture, and APIs.
  • Experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards and experience with tools such as Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred experience testing native iOS or Android applications and using Xcode, Android Studio, Appium, Detox, or BrowserStack.
  • Preferred familiarity with TestFlight, Google Play Console, healthcare applications, EHR systems, HIPAA, or PHIPA environments.
