Base Salary
$186k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems using Go and Python.
- Develop and evolve high-throughput data pipelines for network flow and DNS telemetry.
- Architect systems for real-time and near real-time data processing.
- Improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of platform services.
- Lead design and code reviews, setting a high bar for engineering quality.
- Drive cross-team architecture and platform alignment.
- Partner with product and detection teams to deliver shared platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and experience with Python.
- Experience with streaming or data-intensive systems (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink).
- Solid understanding of network telemetry (e.g., flow logs, DNS).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in systems design, performance, and reliability.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across teams.
