Base Salary
$186k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems using Go and Python.
- Develop and evolve high-throughput data pipelines for network flow and DNS telemetry.
- Architect systems for real-time and near-real-time data processing.
- Improve the performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of platform services.
- Lead design and code reviews and establish high engineering-quality standards.
- Drive cross-team architecture and platform alignment.
- Partner with product and detection teams to deliver shared platform capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence and ownership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Go and experience with Python.
- Experience with streaming or data-intensive systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Flink.
- Solid understanding of network telemetry, including flow logs and DNS.
- Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
- Strong background in systems design, performance, and reliability.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across teams.
- Cybersecurity or network detection experience is preferred.
- Experience with real-time analytics systems is preferred.
- Expertise in data warehousing technologies such as Elasticsearch, Hadoop, or Druid is preferred.
