Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
- Build and maintain applications and Electronic Lab Notebook systems supporting international laboratory teams.
- Work with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Cosmos DB, and MSSQL.
- Perform UI testing and unit testing using tools such as MS Test, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, and Karma.
- Design and work with n-tier architectures and service-oriented architecture projects.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve review comments, and close code reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, write efficient code and queries, and use SQL Profiler.
- Provide technical recommendations and solve complex technical problems.
- Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Implement or work with authentication and authorization, including OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications with Microsoft technologies.
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and WebAPI.
- Strong knowledge of Angular 2 or later, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of Cosmos DB and MSSQL/SQL.
- Experience using TFS.
- Familiarity with UI testing and unit testing tools including MS Test, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, and Karma.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
- Working knowledge of code reviews, programming best practices, performance troubleshooting, and efficient SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization; OAuth2 and OpenID Connect knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree in computer science, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, writing, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
