Senior Workday Security & Integration Engineer

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary owner of Workday security and integration configurations.
- Manage security groups, tenant configurations, and data integrity across environments.
- Identify and implement platform enhancements to improve user experience.
- Participate in bi-annual Workday release management.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Payroll to design scalable solutions.
- Document configurations and business processes for audit readiness.
- Own the lifecycle of Workday integrations with external systems.
- Develop and optimize custom integrations using various Workday tools.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot failures.
- Implement error handling and alerting mechanisms for integrations.
- Configure and maintain role-based and user-based security groups.
- Conduct quarterly security audits for compliance.
- Manage user provisioning and access reviews.
- Partner with IT Security to enforce data privacy standards.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning recommendations.
- Leverage XML, XSLT, and APIs for data transformations.
- Stay current on Workday product roadmap and features.
- Collaborate with HRIS Team and contribute to Corporate Systems strategy.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Provide expertise in security and integrations architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday Security administration experience.
- 3+ years developing and managing Workday integrations.
- Experience managing security frameworks and tenant operations.
- Expert-level proficiency in Workday security and integration configuration.
- Strong integration development skills using Workday Studio and web services.
- Proficiency with XML, XSLT, and API-based data transformations.
- Experience with Workday Report Writer and Advanced Reports.
- Understanding of HR data models and payroll processes.
- Mastery of creating and auditing security groups.
- Strong working knowledge of managing authentication policies.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
