Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive websites, SPAs, finance calculators, configurators, ecommerce applications, and other web-based products.
- Work with account directors, creative teams, backend developers, QA testers, scrum masters, and clients to deliver projects on time.
- Help define and execute development strategy and improve team working practices.
- Mentor, develop, and line-manage developers on the team.
- Conduct code reviews, estimate tasks, research emerging technologies, and participate in sprint planning, standups, and demonstrations.
- Use Cursor to accelerate software delivery with supporting tests and documentation, while improving AI tools, skills, and workflows.
- Write clear technical documentation and prompts for AI tools.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one of TypeScript, React, or ES6+.
- Experience with frontend tools and libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, and Zustand.
- Experience using REST APIs, Sass, Styled Components, responsive layouts, semantic HTML5, browser APIs, accessibility practices, and web performance techniques.
- Knowledge of modern build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, Rspack, Rsbuild, or Rollup, plus Module Federation.
- Experience with Git/GitLab, testing frameworks such as Jest, and test-supported development.
- Experience managing and mentoring employees as a technical lead or line manager.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience writing technical documentation.
- Ability to use AI coding tools effectively, understand their limitations, and craft clear, unambiguous prompts.
