Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain sophisticated native iOS and iPadOS applications.
- Build new features that improve user engagement and contribute to application growth in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Conduct code reviews, fix bugs, and write tests and automation to ensure application stability, performance, and maintainability.
- Craft experiments to better understand user interactions and contribute ideas for product improvements.
- Collaborate effectively with a geographically distributed team and Mozilla’s global open-source community.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building and shipping native iOS/iPadOS applications using Swift.
- Strong interest in modern iOS development practices, including SwiftUI and MVVM architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in code reviews, unit testing, and automation, with a focus on identifying and resolving bugs.
- Ability to communicate and operate effectively in a distributed team setting.
- Willingness to work transparently within Mozilla’s open-source project and support its mission.
