Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Build backend services, business logic, and APIs using Node.js, NestJS, or Express.
- Develop reusable responsive frontend components and maintain high-quality mobile experiences.
- Integrate third-party services and connect frontend applications with backend systems.
- Design and maintain relational data models, queries, and database integrations.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data-handling practices.
- Write and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintainable engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decisions, architecture improvements, and development standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience, preferably as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong hands-on JavaScript and TypeScript experience across frontend and backend development.
- Experience with React or Next.js, React Native, Node.js, NestJS or Express, relational databases, and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Git; Docker; automated testing; authentication and authorization mechanisms; and secure coding practices.
- Knowledge of JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OWASP principles.
- Preferred experience includes serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pub/Sub, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, observability, TanStack Query, Zustand, system design, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in Agile teams across the software development lifecycle.
