Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile trading experiences across React Native and native iOS and Android, including market browsing, order placement, portfolio views, and settlement flows.
- Architect performant real-time interfaces for streaming orderbook, price chart, and position P&L data.
- Extend trading UI components to the web using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on gRPC, WebSocket, and FIX integrations and contribute backend code in Go, Java, or Scala as needed.
- Partner with product and design to shape user experiences for crypto, equities, and prediction markets across mobile and web.
- Independently scope and implement solutions while making architecture and platform tradeoffs.
- Own projects end to end from design through delivery while working with product managers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, including significant production mobile experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and strong proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin.
- Experience building real-time, data-intensive user interfaces such as trading, dashboard, or live-feed applications.
- Ability to contribute to backend work using Go, Java, Scala, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of FIX, WebSocket, REST, gRPC, or GraphQL communication protocols.
- Preferred experience with financial or trading applications, including orderbooks, charting, or position management.
- Preferred background in crypto, equities trading, or prediction markets.
- Preferred exposure to microservices on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with React Native or native module authoring that bridges React Native and native code.
- Preferred startup or high-growth company experience with demonstrated ownership and autonomy.
